My time is quickly drawing to a close as in about one month I will be leaving Yei, Sudan and Harvesters. I have struggled being very nostalgic and overwhelmed lately with the upcoming reality of changes to come. What are my plans for next year you may wonder? Good question, God has yet to reveal the answer. Can I say patience?!?! Currently there are still two possible ministry options both of which are full time and long term. This will require additional funds that will need to be raised in my time back in the States. I would value your prayers regarding this need and how God wants you to be a part of my future ministry in Africa. My team leaders were able to come to Yei in April. They came with me to check out the possibility of helping to start a staff school for the children of the Bible School teachers at Emmanuel Christian Training Center in Goli. On my way out I will be heading to Tanzania for a week to check out a primary school there under AIM (Africa Inland Missions) that is also in need of teachers. Please continue to pray for these options as God leads and directs. Pray that the next step will be very clear and I will continue to be still before my Savior.
"But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. May we have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we commanded. May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's perseverance" 2 Thessalonians 3:3-5.
Persevere for the kingdom of God is near! Yes, God is Sovereign!
