Most Sundays we hear God's blessing pronouced to us at the end of the service in the benediction. This morning I ran across the Psalmist praying for much the same. God prompted him to write,"May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us:"
The verse that follows explains the reason for desiring the blessing of God. The Psalmist continued by saying,
"May your ways be know on earth, you salvation among all nations."
It is our prayer that God would bless us so that we might share salvation and His ways to all nations.
