First Lutheran Church's pastor, Rev. Jerry Peterson traveled to India as a teacher with our pastoral training program in January of this year. God placed a special burden on his heart for the people who experience desperate conditions in life.Pastor Peterson shared some of the weather related disasters with his congregation recently and they raised funds to help rebuild a pastor's home that was destroyed. They also were able to help rebuild some of the homes of church members in another village.
