Thursday night, Dec. 11th, the father of this newborn little girl was waiting for us when we arrived home after dropping kids off from the Club that night. He said that the doctors were planning on amputating half of her foot the next day. Well, urgent prayer was made for her that night and the next morning. God was also asked to put this need on the hearts of people back in the U.S. because there wasn't enough time to let anyone know about it. The next morning the doctors saw a significant improvement all the way up to the toes on her right foot. Nevertheless, there was no improvement in the toes. Finally, doctors told the mom that little Emiliana was running the risk of of blood clot and she gave the OK to amputate the toes. The surgery was performed on Wednesday. The family is sad on the one hand, but they said that considering how bad the prognosis was at the beginning they are very glad this is all that happened. So we thank the Lord for his mercies to this little one and at the same time we're reminded that we aren't in heaven yet. Thank you all so much for interceding for this baby.
In Christ,
