Bible Training Ministry in Ukraine

Moriah_First day of 1st gradeIt's "back-to-school" season here in Ukraine, and what a festive time of celebration it is! Education, regardless of age, is of utmost importance here in Ukraine. Special celebrations are traditionally held to mark the start of a new school year. Moriah and Isaiah, with their backpacks nearly tipping them over backwards, Moriah_Isaiah first day of schoolwere among the students heading off to school today.

Among the back-to-school celebrations is that of a new school which begins this month: our Ukrainian Bible School! We could hardly wait to share the exciting news about our eight residential students who will be attending this year. Thank you, Lord!

It is our prayer for these students that the Lord would reveal himself to each of them, in both mighty ways and tender ways, in their months of study to come. We pray that they would draw nearer to Him in personal relationship, and that they would be equipped with His Word for future service.

As we commit this school year to the Lord, would you pray with us that HE would be our teacher and guide? In your life and in those of your family. In Andy's and mine, and in our children's lives. In the lives of our Bible School students, and staff.

“Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go." (Isaiah 48:17 ESV)

We invite you to catch up on our news and activities from the past month on our blog.

We are so grateful for your prayers, through which God is providing so graciously here.  We will be updating our blog as the Bible School starts in two weeks- stay tuned!
