I just got a message from Daniel in Mexico. Lois Raser, a retired missionary who goes to our church there in Jerez, and a dear friend of ours, got a call today from the Zetas, the enforcers for the Gulf Cartel, who have pretty much taken over Jerez. They say they want to meet with her.
There have been instances of people who claim to be these guys who call and try to extort money by threatening people, so we don't know which it is.
Please pray for wisdom and protection for Lois and her family as well as for our family, especially Daniel who has been given the responsibility for the church now while Todd is traveling in the US.
